At 7pm, the celebrations continue on South Street with a traditional Scottish ceilidh. Join in the dancing and enjoy lively traditional music provided by the Kilrymont Ceilidh Band – whether you're an experienced dancer or simply want to soak up the atmosphere, everyone is welcome! At 8pm, experience the torch procession as it makes its way from South Street towards West Sands Beach, led by the spectacular Madras Pipe Band. The celebrations will reach their grand finale with a fireworks display at West Sands, beginning at approximately 8.15pm, following the procession. We recommend making your way to West Sands in good time to secure a great viewing spot and enjoy the build-up to the display.
